What Positive Memories Do You Draw On?

Positive memories help us get through difficult times and accessing their power is readily available. Simply recall them, remember, recall what happened and how they made you feel. Positive memories can help us feel brave, loved, comfortable, and also melancholy. No matter what your age is, positive memories make a difference if accessed when we need them. To help children learn the power of special memories, I put together a story about a little girl afraid to begin Kindergarten. Her mother teaches her what recalling memories can do and even makes new a new memory with her daughter to pull up when she begins school.

-What special memories do you pull up when you need them?

-What special memories have you helped to create on purpose for yourself, for your children, or for someone else?
