An Interesting Read for Educators of Writing in the Classroom

An interesting read below for those of us who teach, especially for those of us who teach writing. AI is still detectable for those educated in the art of writing and working with students' writing. The most troublesome thing I worry about is that over time, our young will eventually not know how to express themselves, how to write properly, how to communicate on paper, which can lead to not knowing how to communicate well verbally. Combine this with the erosion of cursive writing, and we could become illiterate. If we become illiterate, we will be so easy to lead and control. Remember what Benjamin Franklin said, The pen is mightier than the sword."
