"This is a lovely story with a profound message that talks about the security of a stable parent /child relationship and at the same time how we all respond to nature (weather). As an adult reading this book I was reminded of all the special memories I had with my parents that were rooted in the mundane but were extraordinary to me.
This book makes for an excellent bedtime story but also is geared towards the classroom. It comes with a few superb activities and lesson plans that could work with a science class or a creative writing class for children. Having taught ESL myself I know it would be invaluable in teaching ESL to beginner level students."
